The artist behind the art.

Sheridan Hunter is a writer and photographer based in Los Angeles. As a double Trojan, she earned a bachelor’s degree in African American studies and a minor in cinematic arts, and recently graduated with a master’s in journalism from USC. Through her work, Sheridan seeks to amplify and celebrate Black communities, and provide a space for them to be seen and heard.

Her photographic work has been featured in The Black Palette exhibition (2025) at the USC Fisher Museum of Art in Los Angeles, as well as Monad Gallery’s HERstory exhibition (2025) and Still: Moving Black History Month exhibition (2026) in Brooklyn.
